WHAT DOES DESIGN FOR ALL MEAN FOR PROFESSIONALS?

Be it architect, software programmer, engineer or electronic engineer, it is clear that designers are living under intense pressure due to competition, the need to be kept continuously updated on new materials or new manufacturing techniques and also the challenge to continue offering products and services with favourable commercial results.

If designers adopt Design for All as a central axis of their work, the following advantages will be attained:

• To reduce the elaboration time of the product or service briefing because users or specialised centres will give them the necessary information quickly.
  
  
• To increase the possibilities of success of the product because the needs and capabilities of potential users have been taken into account.

• To consolidate the ethical position of any professional by advising their customers about what is good or not for them but for society too.
  

In order for professionals to implement and develop Design for All, we have created the ”Commitment to Design for All" project, which is the commitment undertaken by professionals to adapt their services, products and projects to the characteristics, necessities and expectations of all users and consumers through the principles of Design for All.
