The “Flag of Towns and Cities for All” offers to municipalities the opportunity to join a growing group of towns and cities that have commit to improve their public space, their facilities, transports, buildings and services, improving the life quality of their citizens and visitors.
The goal is to make visible the good practices regarding accessibility and Design for All of the towns and cities involved in the project.
As a public image of this commitment assumed by the municipal government, the Design for All Foundation awards every year the towns and cities involved in the project with the "Flag of Towns and Cities for All", a yearly prize to acknowledge the quality of actions put into practise and the commitment for future actions.
The "Flag of Towns and Cities for All" is an international scheme and has the support of many organizations.
