Design for all
The Foundation inaugurated the awards this year with the aim to acknowledge administrations, companies and entities that are committed to the 'Design for All' and implement or promote it, obtaining specific benefits for All. In this first edition of 2010, the jury in charge of selecting the nominees and handing out the prizes has been the Foundations board of trustees.
The award ceremony took place on February 26th 2010, coinciding with the Annual Dinner of the Foundation. We would like to underscore the great value and merits of all the nominees, which made the final choice really difficult.
The winners in the three award categories were:

On this occasion, the jury opted for handing in jointly to:
Askersund City Hall (Sweden)
Palma de Mallorca City Hall (Spain)

We would like to make acknowledgement of both the winners and the final nominees, and we invite all companies, entities and administrations that work on the fields of Accessibility and Design for All to participate in the 2011 edition of our Award.
